Never be afraid to add a little beeswax! The process dates back to 800 B.C. where it was commonly used as a form of painting. In these works the photographs are mounted on wood panels and then layered with a combination of hot beeswax and Damar resin, fused together with heat and sculpted to create the desired texture, depth, and focus.
